Chelsea vs Manchester City - Match Report

14:31

Aguero and Fernandinho sent off as Chelsea beat City 3-1

The match was a really tense one and many great opportunities rose until Fernandinho headed the ball past Courtois but the offside flag was up.

After that, Chelsea and City both had great chances but neither of the two took the advantage of it.

That was until Gary Cahill's own goal in the 44th minute, when Jesus Navas crossed the ball in and Cahill, in an attempt to clear it, put it in his own net.

Cesc Fabregas saw Diego Costa's run and made a good ariel ball to Costa who controlled it by his chest and turned on Otamendi before shooting past Bravo.

Chelsea came on a counter attack and Costa played a through ball to Willian who made no mistake in finishing it past Bravo and giving Chelsea the lead in the 70th minute.

It was Eden Hazard who signaled game over for City when he raced up and powered it past Claudio Bravo.

Situation then worsened for City as Fernandinho and Aguero were sent off in the 90+6 and 90+7 minutes respectively.
