Yannick Carrasco almost got the equalizer for Atletico when his 20-yard effort was just off target. Then Griezmann striding on a Koke pass to shot and force Navas a brilliant save.
It was game over for Atletico when Savic curtailed Ronaldo's run and a spot kick was awarded to Ronaldo to make it 2-0.
Ronaldo moved into double figures for the season six minutes later when Bale set up the simplest finish for Ronaldo.
