The Madrid Derby

So, it's time for the most awaited derby of Spain- Real Madrid vs Atletico de Madrid. Two Spanish giants facing of at Vincente Calderon Stadium. Let's take a look at the weakness and strength of the two teams. Starting with Real Madrid.
Weakness:
  • The defense of Real has been a howler at some important times and this time without Pepe they must face a challenge in the defense 
  • Toni Kross will not be available for the derby and that will be a key point for this game.
  • Zinedine has not been able to make decisions like he used to make in the last season resulting in draws.
Strength:
  • Cristiano and Bale are red hots and are 80% expected to score in crucial times.
  • Sergio Ramos and Benzema are back after injuries.
  • Alvaro Morata is playing well and if he gets up in the 18-yard area he can be dangerous.
  • Isco is on a high note after scoring the equalizing goal against England and is expected to score.
Atletico Madrid

 Strength:
  • The defense of Atletico is doing a great job, like always conceding 8 goals in the league.
  • Their midfield is tuning very well and can be vulnerable at times.
Weakness:
  • Antoine Griezmann hasn't scored yet so he must be frustrated and can fell prey to the Real defense also.
 This Madrid Derby is going to be very interesting and both teams have equal chances to win. But Real would be looking to demolish their rivals from the start as Barca is hovering on the 2nd spot with just two point difference which can be reduced when the host Malaga. On the other side, Atletico who are on the 4th position would like to come up on the table and take revenge of the two Champions League Finals in which Real defeated them.
